Intelligence Model Predictive Based Control Scheme for Multi-Machine Power System Stabilization

چکیده مقاله
In this paper a model predictive PID Power System Stabilizer (PSS) based on Fuzzy Wavelet Neural Network (FWNN) is proposed for designing of stabilizing control commands to damp the multi-area power grid low frequency fluctuations. The auto tuning PSS scheme is made by using a FWNN structure and a predictive PID controller. Tuning rule is derived from the minimizing of model predictive cost function employing the gradient descent approach. In order to validate the usefulness of the developed power grid stabilization scheme, some simulation results are provided for a two-area-four-generator power grid. The capability of the suggested method is verified with considering several operating conditions. The obtained simulation results show the proposed control scheme damp the power system low frequency fluctuations satisfactorily.
