| In this research, we explain applications of fuzzy mathematics and fuzzy inference systems in archaeology. Then, a fuzzy inference system is designed for one of the archaeological indexes called Gender Determination. Rules of such a fuzzy inference system are obtained based on archaeological and osteological concepts. Based on the designed system, one can evaluate the gender of uncovered bones in archaeological studies. |
